Tirzepatide

Tirzepatide is an injectable peptide that is a GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) and  GIP ( glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide ) agonist that works within the stomach,  it works on two receptor sites.  GLP-1 and GIP are both incretin hormones , which are released after eating.  Tirzepatide acts like two incretins, therefore,  it can cause more weight loss.   

What it entails:

$785 low dose ( 2.5mg, 5mg or 7.5 mg),  $790 high dose ( 10 mg, 12.5mg or 15 mg) 

Side Effects: Nausea, vomiting, constipation, indigestion, localized reaction to injection site.

Frequency: Once to twice monthly
